Rotary Trimmer Best Investment12 October 2019This Rotary Trimmer has been the best investment that I have made for my scrapbooking, junk journaling, card making, the blade is so smooth passing over the pages, the grid is easy to read, it is not to heavy to lift folds up nicely to create more space, and being able to lock the safety guard down when not in use is a good idea, looking for a good trimmer do not go past this Fiskars Trimmer
WORTH THE INVESTMENT!By: Lisa on 4 September 2019I have had my Fiskars rotary trimmer for over two years now as I got fed up with having to constantly buy trimming blades and the extra expense this entailed, as well as those furry, jagged cuts on my paper stock after only a small amount of time. I am still getting sharp, precise cuts after 24 months of constant use on paper, cardstock and thick cardboard (I have not tried it on other materials but I cannot see why it would not cut these too). You are able to trim the smallest sliver of paper from an edge to get it just right. Even my husband uses it as it is so easy to get a straight line! The guard keeps the paper flat when cutting, there are no wobbles half way along (as you can get with the smaller cutters) and you can line up your cardstock so that the cut is parallel/perpendicular even if the original cardstock was not manufactured with a 100% straight edge. Couple of down sides - 1. cost (but worth it as you do not have to replace blades/remember to buy more blades all the time) 2. it is quite heavy and large in size (definitely a set up and leave on the table cutter....I have mine on an extendable drawer that comes out from under my craft table) 3. measuring at 6" can be hard as the 6" mark falls where the cutter folds in half....I have found just eyeballing it works fine for me I would buy this again without hesitation if the blade on mine EVER goes blunt
