Grungepaper: a compressed, flexible, thinner sheet of dingy material that can be punched, painted, inked, sanded, die-cut, or grunged.

Well, Tim Holtz wanted a surface that was slightly thinner than Grungeboard but with the same grungeable, flexible, inkable, sewable, properties so he could use his personal die cutting systems, digital craft cutters, and get this - paper punches!
