How do I add to the shopping cart?
You can add to the shopping cart basket directly from the products thumbnail page or from the detailed page of a product. Next to the main image of every product there is a box titled "add to cart", within this box there will be a button which you can click on to add this item to the basket.

How do I know my item has been added to the shopping cart?
Once you have clicked on the "add to cart" button to place the item in your shopping cart basket, your page will refresh and the item will be added to your cart. You can then locate the shopping cart basket in either side columns of the online store or the link to "Edit Cart" in the top menu navigation bar. Your items will be listed in the basket, you can also edit them further from here.

How do I check the shipping cost on my items?
First add the items to your cart you wish to find shipping costs for, then locate the shopping cart basket in one of the side columns of the online store. In this box you will see a link to "calculate shipping". From this page you can enter your country and postcode to calculate the shipping cost on the items in your cart. You can then decide whether to proceed and complete the purchase.

Once an order is received by the store administration, you will receive an order confirmation email to the address you entered during the sites secure checkout.

How long is it to receive my order?
Once we've received payment, it'll take within 3 to 5 business days to receive your item. You will receive an email to the address you entered during the sites secure checkout advising that your order has shipped.

When will my backorder arrive?
Your item will be received within the time frame recommended on the product page of the item when it was purchased. If the item is later than expected, please contact the us via the "contact us" page.

How do I create an account?
In the side column of the online store you will see a members box. In this box you can click on the link to go to the secure log in or account creation page. Once you have created the account, you can use this for future purchases where the items you place in your basket will be remembered even if you leave this online store and come back later.
If you are a member with a discount for all purchases, you will need to log in first to ensure the discount is applied to your purchase.

Do you ship to my country?
To find out if we ship to your country, first fill your shopping basket and locate the shopping cart basket on the side column of this site. Within this shopping basket there is a link called "calculate shipping". Once you click on this link there is a drop down list of countries to choose from, if your country is listed then our online store will ship to you.

What are my shipping charges?
Postage/Shipping is calculated on weight/destination, you can calculate postage by placing the items in your shopping basket then click on the "calculate postage" button (top right hand side of the screen). Postage/Shipping costs within Australia start at $5.50 for up to 250gms, then $6.50 for 250-500gms etc, once the parcel weighs over 500gms then the costs vary depending on your postcode.

What is your refund and returns policy?
Returning a Product
If you change your mind about a purchase or make an incorrect choice, we will provide you with a refund within 14 days of delivery for unopened products (excludes CD's, DVD's) This refund does not include delivery costs.
If the Product is damaged or Dead on Arrival, Dead Soon After Arrival or a Later Defect Product, we have indicated below what you should do and how Scrap Dragon will respond to the problem.
Scrap Dragon will not provide a refund or replace a product that has been misused, mishandled or incorrectly installed or serviced. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all instructions and advice or warnings given by the manufacturer or supplier are followed.

Dead On Arrival Products - "DOA"
A Scrap Dragon Product is considered DOA if it shows symptoms of a failure, or is discovered to be broken or defective when first taken from its packaging.
A Scrap Dragon Representative will provisionally determine whether the Product is DOA. Where a Product is provisionally determined as DOA we will arrange to provide a full refund or a replacement product, depending on your choice.
Where Scrap Dragon has provisionally determined that a Product is DOA, return shipping will be arranged at the expense of Scrap Dragon.
If the Product is deemed by Customer Service NOT to be DOA, and is not covered by a warranty, Scrap Dragon may refuse to replace the Product or give you a refund for the Product.
When a Product is replaced, your replacement Product becomes your property and the returned DOA Product becomes our property. Replacement Products are provided with the same warranty as the returned Product.
When a refund is given, the returned DOA Product becomes our property.
Dead Soon After Arrival Products - "DSAA"
If you find a defect in a Product within a reasonable time after delivery and before you have used it a lot (30 days as a rule of thumb) you should notify Scrap Dragon and your claim will be treated in the same way as a DOA product (see "Dead On Arrival Products").
Later Defect Products - "LD"
If the Product is not DOA or DSAA and you find that the Product has a defect or a problem within a reasonable time during which it should not have that defect or problem, it is a LD Product. Scrap Dragon will exchange the LD Product where possible, or refund you the purchase price of the Product.
A reasonable time is the amount of time that is reasonable to expect, given the cost and quality of the item and the amount and type of usage. Only rarely will that period exceed one year and usually it will be much shorter.
When a claim for a LD is made, a Scrap Dragon Customer Service Representative will provisionally determine whether the Product is LD. Where a Product is provisionally determined as LD we will arrange to provide a replacement product or a refund.
Where Scap Dragon has provisionally determined that a Product is LD, return shipping will be arranged at the expense of Scrap Dragon if the claim has been notified to us within 90 days of delivery. Other cases will be considered on their merits.
If the Product is deemed by Customer Service NOT to be LD, and is not covered by a warranty, Scrap Dragon may refuse to replace the Product or give you a refund for the Product.
Where a refund is given for a LD product, it may be given as a Refund Credit to Your Account.
The delivery time for replacing the Product will be the same as stated for the original Product.
Replacement Products are provided with the same warranty as the returned Product.
